In September 2025, the inaugural Sydney Cube Championship brought local drafters together for two days of cube drafting and competitive limited play, and crowned the city's first cube champion.
That weekend showed there was appetite for something bigger than the weekly draft: a flagship event run by the community to crown the annual cube champion.

The championship is organised by Cube Central and Good Games, with the weekly Sydney draft community at its heart. Contact details for each are below.
Cube Central is Sydney's regular cube draft community. The group drafts every Wednesday at Good Games Central, making it the best place to practise, meet local cube players, and learn the format before the championship.
